What FLOC is
-
Meet-ups. Monthly peer-led meet-ups in Bruton, Queen Camel, Frome and Online. Find connection and belonging with people who truly get it.
The Reframe Project. A 7-step rebuilding framework for parents who have reached a level of acceptance. We don't fix what's broken. We reframe what's possible.
-
For parents and carers to find true belonging and the ability to navigate the parenting journey they may not have expected. Through shared experience, connection and understanding, we can help parent carers rediscover the strength and capacity they already hold within themselves, find their own way forward and build renewed confidence, acceptance and a sense of possibility.
Through our model, every parent can find their FLOC - and flourish.
Why FLOC exists
When you’re raising a child with any additional need, disability or sensitivity, it’s normal to slip into survival mode. There’s so much to juggle - constant questions, endless appointments, meetings, learning an entirely new language and everything in between.
From sharing our own experiences and talking to hundreds of families, we realised we weren’t alone. Many parents are struggling quietly, trying to hold everything together without the support they deserve. That’s why community matters. When parents connect, share, and support each other, everything feels a little lighter - and nobody has to navigate this journey on their own.
We believe that connection with people who ‘get it’ changes everything. Not because it fixes what's hard - but because doing it together makes everything easier.
Join a monthly meet-up
Community meet-ups are where we share the load and process our reality. Facilitated by trained and experienced parent carers we build connections - locally and online - with people who genuinely get it. Come as you are. Share if you want, listen if that's where you're at. Tea and coffee available. No pressure to talk.
The Reframe Programme
Talking to families, we kept hearing the same thing - not just "I need more support" but "I want us to start thriving again as a family."
The Reframe Programme is a 7-week framework for parents and carers who are ready to move forward. Delivered online in a small group, we use our 7 Steps to take you from surviving to thriving. Parents who completed the project reported reduced loneliness and overwhelm and greater confidence in themselves.
We don't fix what's broken. We reframe what's possible.

Where to start
Monthly Meet-ups are where we recommend you start. Our meet-ups provide the perfect space to process, share, feel heard and less alone.
Currently running in Bruton, Frome, Queen Camel and online.
When we start making sense of our reality - this is where The Reframe Programme begins.
The Reframe Programme is seven weekly sessions, one hour each, online. With a small group of parents and carers who get it - because they're living it too. Facilitated by Katie & Amelia parents with lived experience, who get-it.
