What FLOC is
-
FLOC brings parents and carers of children with SEND together offering Monthly meet-ups and The Reframe Project.
We provide support to parents and carers of children with any additional need or sensitivity. With or without a diagnosis.
-
To end isolation for parents and carers of children with SEND. We help families strengthen their wellbeing, feel empowered, and support their child’s development with confidence.
Through our model, every parent can find their FLOC — and flourish.
Why FLOC exists
When you’re raising a child with SEND, or any additional need or sensitivity, it’s normal to slip into survival mode. There’s so much to juggle — constant questions, endless appointments, meetings, learning an entirely new world of SEND and everything that comes with it.
From sharing our own experiences and talking to hundreds of families, we realised we weren’t alone. Many parents are struggling quietly, trying to hold everything together without the support they deserve. That’s why community matters. When parents connect, share, and support each other, everything feels a little lighter — and nobody has to navigate this journey on their own.
We believe that coming together with people who ‘get it’ makes a real difference. Not because it fixes what's hard - but because doing together makes everything easier.
Join a monthly meet-up
Community meet-ups are where we share the load and process our reality. Facilitated by trained and experienced parent carers we build connections - locally and online - with people who genuinely get it. Come as you are. Share if you want, listen if that's where you're at. Tea and coffee available. No pressure to talk.
The Reframe Project
Talking to families, we kept hearing the same thing - not just "I need more support" but "I want us to start thriving again as a family."
The Reframe Project is a 7-week framework for parents and carers who are ready to move forward. Delivered online with a small group of parents and carers, we use our 7 Pillars to take you from surviving to thriving. Parents who completed the project reported reduced loneliness and overwhelm and greater confidence in themselves.
We don't fix what's broken. We reframe what's possible.

Where to start
Monthly Meetups are where we recommend you start. Our meet-ups provide the perfect space to process, share, feel heard and less alone.
Currently running in Bruton, Frome and online.
When we start making sense of our reality - this is where The Reframe Project begins.
The Reframe Project is seven weekly sessions, one hour each, online. With a small group of parents and carers who get it - because they're living it too. Facilitated by Katie & Amelia parents with lived experience, who get-it.
